The earliest Appearence of the first Name "Bodo". In the 1st punic war between Karthage and Rome (246-241
B.C.) Bodo, Military Commander under Hannibal (also called "Boodes", greek: Βοώδης) arrested the roman commander Cornelius Scipio. Because Scipio mousetrapped in the harbour of Lipari (Sicily,
near Stromboli) he also afterwards was entitled "Asina" (donkey).
